[ About the Major ]  Korean Language Education Major Website

The
Korean Language Education major is an academic field that explores teaching and learning methodologies aimed at enhancing Korean communication skills for non-native Korean speakers. Students systematically and deeply understand the Korean language and culture from a global perspective while acquiring the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for effective Korean language education. Through this program, students develop professional expertise as Korean language educators and, upon graduation, automatically obtain Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certification (subject to application and review by the National Institute of the Korean Language).

Additionally, students cultivate innovative teaching methods utilizing EduTech technologies and develop professional interpretation and translation skills, enabling them to become creative leaders in the global dissemination and mediation of Korean language and culture. They play a key role in innovating the Korean language teaching and learning system and promoting Korean language and culture on the global stage.
